| Problem Solvers has had a long history and experience in supporting corporate crisis management programs in response to the endemic security related problems in Mexico. We start with the premise of working closely with the corporate security department of our client to insure our work is consistent and complements a headquarters crisis management program. Likewise, we have had some clients that had no corporate crisis management program in place, thus we are also experienced in starting a stand-alone model for the client's Mexican subsidiary. Our experience in this area encompasses: - Development of crisis management programs customized to the realities of the Mexican operating environment. - Conducting training tutorials for key members of the local crisis management committee. - Conducting simulation exercises to insure all members of the committee understand their roles in responding to a crisis. We strongly encourage our clients to conduct these simulation exercises on an annual basis, as a refresher and to familiarize new members of the committee. - Incorporating business continuity issues as the needs of the client require, after all Mexico City is prone to earthquakes! - Availability on a 24/7 basis to participate and support crisis management meetings, and coordinate as the needs require with other entities, including Mexican law enforcement authorities. - And paraphrasing a sage observer, a successfully managed incident is unlikely to become a crisis! |
